Johannes Seefried (Germany, 1986) is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Berlin and Düsseldorf. From 2007 to 2012 he studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich. In his works Seefried follows his own philosophy, exploring what remains present. Thriving for the question, what kind of time do you want to be? Since his early work, Johannes Seefried has taken an analytical approach, understanding his subjects as Layers of the Past with the possibility of changing in the present. Within a conceptual approach Johannes Seefried has been expanding his work beyond the medium of painting, using extraordinary techniques and materials.
